Hi all E60 fans and users,

i purchases a second E60 2004 model a couple of days ago, and im fixing some minor issues (tires, spark plugs, oil and oil filter, break pads, and so on) i have the following question?

when the mechanic uncovered the spark plug holders there was a little oil on then (not on the spark plug itself, but on the holder), should i change the round gaskets ??? he told me there are 6 valve cover gasket one for each plug????

You cannot just replace the round gaskets and hope it will reseal. Get the whole valve cover gasket kit with all the valve cover seals and new hold downs otherwise the other gaskets will be compromised.
