oil change at BMW dealership

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
Wow, that's a really good price.
I called two of my local BMW stealerships and the first one said $110 and the other said $150! furthermore, he said that it was $150 for ALL bmw's: from 4.4 to 2.5. He was a jacka** and didn't know what he was talking about.
I'll be doing it myself here very soon.

How often would anyone recommend changing the oil on a 530 2005 manual car? i just changed mine through BMW and spent $200. do i really have to change it again 15,000 miles later? I dont feel comfortable doing that...
