Oil Change
#13
I brought my immaculately clean car into the dealer last week and when the service manager went through all of the final paperwork he said, "And we cleaned it up for you." My heart sunk. I go out and they've obviously washed it in the sun and let water dry on the wipers, door handles, sunroof...and many places on the car. I couldn't believe they washed a car so obviously detailed, by me none the less. I'm sure my face said it all when he told me they cleaned it up...
I'm sure the guy who was told to wash the car wanted to talk back, but just hung his head and did what he was told. There is no one with half a brain that would have sprayed my car with a hose in that condition, if they had any say so whatsoever. I'll ask for the wash delete feature next time.

Not for a V8! That wont even cover the cost of the 8.5 q of BMW Synthetic Oil. I avoid the stealership at all costs and have now opted to change the oil every 5-6k since hitting 100k miles on the clock. Easy to say when I use someone who just charges me for materials... but I would do it myself if not - its a piece of cake and I do all the other cars in my stable.
