Find someone who works with lead or some other metal body filler. A good body man will be able to fix you up with out cutting the rear panel..OUCH! That would be a real shame on such a fine automobile!

Outta my hands now, insurance company have agreed to full bmw bodyshop repair (to preserve my warranty) including a new wheel and laser alignment just incase its off. I hope to get the old wheel back to use as a spare as it really only has minor rim damage.......total cost to me ?100 (insurance excess) and NO LOSS of no claims bonus (remains at 74% as I've got 9 years)......for a change, its a pleasure dealing with the insurance company, no paperwork needed, all done over the phone

by the way....total cost is approaching 2000 GBP for the repair/wheel/alignment........

what company.....ESURE.........I'm impressed. (so-faR)

AT LEAST MY BABY WILL BE GOOD AS NEW AFTER THIS!!!

Thinking of cancelling the M5 order and getting something narrower

Oh dear. Another case of Moving Garage Syndrome. Been there, done that and my commiserations. Expect the men from Munich to arrive shortly, to place a shroud over the injured and distressed vehicle.

I hate when I do that so I feel your pain both for the damage to the car and self esteem. Sometimes I just jerk in my seat thinking I forgot something in the driveway. I backed my wifes cabrio into a tree a short while ago and she never lets me forget it.

However, once the shine is off, so to speak, it is so much more relaxing
