Interior: Portable Sirius Stilletto 100 w/car kit, Garmin Nuvi 680 mounted below rear-view mirror, LCI-style I-drive knob, Dark Poplar Center Dashboard Trim.
Exterior: E60 forum clings, 5% rear tint, ACS roof spoiler (painted black for distinct look against limo tint), ACS trunk spoiler, ACS add-on front spoiler and rear apron (awaiting installation), "18 Black Staggered BeBeS Style OER (emergency replacement for cracked sport 124 rims), black kidney grill, white accessory lighting (including license and trunk lamps), Angel-eye upgrade, AIB xenon-matched fog lamps, AIB V3's on order, red rear reflectors
Not only is the mileage information stored within various modules (iDrive modules and the like), its also stored within the keys (hence your stealership's ability to read codes and warnings from the car by simply inserting the key in a desktop reader). You'd have to be willing to replace numerous programmable modules. Not worth the trouble or risk.

My Ride: 2004 BMW 525i Msport Euro specs: voice command, Lighting package, bluetooth package, premium sound and M5 wheels.
I met a used car salesman who has been bringing his cars for odometer hack so he could sell it at a higher price. He told me that he successfully did it for Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi. He tried it with a BMW E46 and thought that he succeded but he noticed that after driving it for sometime the odometer went back to its original reading. FYI
