Guess what? After 7 months... my Dashboard has miraculously fixed itself. Touch wood and speaking quietly its fixed for a while!

LOL. Strange..i used to have an A4 which did this but the whole speedo used to die as in no rev counter, speedo, display etc etc it was due to water going into the ECU or something! check your seals.

Thats a big negative. All looks well.. It wasn't the whole dash, just the digital readout... Given that most if the time it was the summer where it didn't rain much, I doubt it was water damage..

Only 2 lights work on mine, CEL and the Active steering one, the rest dont light up @ all. Always thought maybe it was a fuse

dont think so. if you look at this thread, there are some troubleshooting steps.. disconnecting the battery, going into dashboard check function. All didn't work for me. I think my car has a mind of its own.. now its working, I think its time to sell as BMW were quoting nearly £1000 for a replacement cluster and programming.
