Default Nothing works

Hi guys, took my 545i for a valet yesterday, when the water pump went, changed it but they drained the battery, now I've lost window functions, folding mirrors, remote central locking, wipers are constantly on, no main beam, indicators only flash 3 times, no cruise control, seat memory, steering wheel won't move and also rear blind isn't working, any ideas, apart from assaulting the valeter would be great.

There is a electrical problem with your car. Might be water damage in the DME, could just be a really bad battery. I'd get some codes pulled, but they might prove unhelpful but it might help you develop a pattern of issues that can lead you to find the problem.

Apparently if I remove positive off the battery, it'll do a master reset, will try later and let you know.

Disconnected the positive for 5 mins, tightened back up, central locking works, everything back as it should be. Result!!!!!! Check for error codes and all clear.

Just for info I changed the water pump without removing the crank pulley, it can be done. Undo the bottom bolt behind the pulley as much as you can, remove other bolts and twist the water pump too the right, with the tensioner removed and she'll come out, reversal too put her back in. Just a quick little tip. I only had a basic socket set and did it in 35mins removal. 40 refitting.
