I had the same problem despite regularly checking the tire pressure. Dealership kept telling me that it's normal for BMW tires to wear like that (which it is to a certain extent due to the negative camber). They also said they couldn't "check" the alignment of the car b/c it had active steering and that I would have to actually get the alignment done in order to fix the issue if one existed. That was complete bullshit. I went to a indy shop and they checked my alignment in 15 min, found that it was way off in the back and fixed it. Tire wear has been good ever since.

 

BMW dealer realigned my car but then after 8K miles, my 20inch rear tires inner side worn out WAYYYY faster.

Went to Firestone (I know a tech there) found out that BMW sets negative -2.3 as "normal/inspec" at rears and w/ SCREWED UP TOE way off than OE spec!!!

I asked the tech to dialed it to -1.8 to -1.9 (would be out of spec according to Hunter alignment machine) and set the toe to OE spec.

Then asked him to "flip" the tires so the rather worn inside be on the outer.

Now, my rear tires have been wearing out nicely now and the handling remains as good as before.

 

My rear tires are wearing more on the inside as well, I'm going to have to try more tire pressure. The dealer had just done an alignment for me last summer and this summer when I went to put my summer rims back on I noticed the uneven wear and just chaulked it up to the oem negative camber.

 

It's a good thing that you had runflats. Otherwise YOU would be looking like those tires.
They are completely shot, and looks like you got about 10,000 miles past worn.
Run flats are noisy and too heavy but they save the spare tire/space.
