Does anyone have a list of the exterior differences between the 2007 non-LCI and 2008 LCI? I have an 07, and to be honest I really can't tell the differences all that much! I know the license plate surround, front fog light housing. Are there any others that I'm missing? Does anyone know what BMW's real aim was with the LCI when the differences are so minimal? Granted, the interior has some substantial differences, namely the door panels, which are much more attractive, but with the exterior, they didn't do anything....

Headlights
Tailights
Front Bumper
Wheels.

THe front bumper is now smiling vs. the non-LCI which is frowning.

You've hit on most of it. The front side reflectors were added and the shape of the rear bumper is a bit boxier. Lights are different. AFAIK, any LCI project is just a spruce up and a bit of planned obsolesence to give people a reason to buy a new car, though the differences are most readily apparent only to the enthusiast.

Exactly what I wanted! I do think that the LCI looks fresher. Just wasn't in my price range. I do like the new license plate surround on the trunk though. I'll stay happy with the 07

I think it's just the headlights that make it look ALOT "Fresher"... if you can get your hands on a pair, it will make your ride look 1000 x better.

Great find, thank you. I personally like the front bumper on the pre-LCI better, but would not hesitate to buy an LCI. Can't go wrong with either. They are both gorgeous.
