This is driving me crazy. My windshield wipers are sooo loud, they screech/squeak around the upright position. I have cleaned the window several times with Zymol, Rain-X and pretty much everything, the blades are new and no help!
It gets really bad at highway speeds as the wind gets stronger. It's actually embarassing when I have passengers.
Please help otherwise I will squeeze an extra large KY on it to give it a smooth action!
ps. I notice the lower corner (in front of me) of the windshield is not wiped properly.
thanks

My experience has been that Rain-x, Rejex or similar windshield applications actually increase (significantly) the amount of chatter that results from the wiper blades. The noise eventually subsides after the application wears off. At this point, my preference is to leave the windshield untreated.

You need clean glass and soft clean rubber. Clean the baldes again since they have picked up the crap from your winshield. Then clean the winshield with vinegar and water.

I also experienced the wiper chatter bug and my dealer swapped it out after 2nd complaint. I think it has to do more with a defective wiper than the windshield not being clean or adding other additives to it.
