no tire rotation

I'm a little confuse on why i cant rotate my tires.... i just want longevity on my run flat tires. My selling dealer & the factory are telling me i cant. Please can somebody enlighten me on this subject....thanks

Not sure what model you have, but most BMW's have directional tires (disallowing rotation from right to left), and most sport package cars have different sizes in the front and back (disallowing switching F to R). I've found on my last 2 cars (330i and 740i, both sport packages) that if you just keep an eye on the tire pressure, you should get 35-40K miles out of a set of tires (presuming you're not racing on them!).

You need no rotation, buy new ones when the rear wheels are gone.

Just check the pressures that they are OK.

At least you don't have to buy two sets - one for the winter and... Stop yelling!
