Hi guys.

I have a problem with the iDrive controller in my car. Pushing up, down left and right works ok to select an option like navigation or entertainment, but it appears to be constantly scrolling to the left. No menus let me scroll through them by turning the wheel left or right, and if I do get it into a menu (I got into the tone controls by selecting the i in the iDrive home screen, it instantly winds them all the way down to 0. The car came with another iDrive controller (but I don't know what year it was from) which I plugged in to see if it made a difference but it appeared to be working exactly the same.

Does this sound like a coding fault, by some chance I ended up with 2 knackered iDrive controllers or a wiring fault somewhere? It's driving me mad not being able to tune the radio in, or connect my phone or use the sat nav!
