What color is your car? If silver gray you can have mine for free!
Seriously tho... dont get the color inserts... just get the red ones... they look 1000% better... I would pay $100 for them instead of using the color inserts... but LUCKLY they were only $25

Have the red ones, but would be interesting to see how the body color ones look.? My car is titanium silver if anyone else wants to donate them.?

Forget it! keep the reds... goto the dealer and take a look at the body color inserts... looks cheap... theres a guy with a 530 silver gray at work with the back inserts... I should convince him to get the red ones.... either that or sell him my body colors ones for $12

It takes like 2 minutes to install the reflectors if you take your time. Buy them while you are here as they are a lot cheaper but don't put them in till you get the car back home. I have heard they replace them sometimes before redelivery.
Look us up for a beer if your near Stuttgart

[/quote]Ultra,
HA! I am aware of the DAMN snow!!!!! :bashwall: :bashwall:
Iceman told me they canceled a World Cup skiiing event recently and that they cancelled 50% of the flights into Munich yesterday!
I've had a "Plan B" all along and that was to leave the car in Munich (rather than drive to Paris) and take the train to Paris. I reserved my train cabin yesterday......
So.. you just slip fishing line underneath the outside corner and pull gently? Sounds easy enough.
Thanks guys...... wish me luck.........

can i proudly claim i started this rear reflector phenomenon here on e60?
i remember posting them back last june when i got my car, this is a specialty item i saw from germany's e60 unveiling ceremony in munich.
i got them from my dealer when i pickup my car, he told me nobody in canada noticed them and my pair was the first to be installed on any e60.

Sorry rollee. Many of us had them before last June. I ordered my reflectors in February 2004 from Bekkers (before they jacked the price up a few bucks) even though I wasn't getting my car until April.
Most of the E60 owners on RF were getting them right away...
