I wouldn't mind a Z06 if I didn't have my son that would be the car for me

I think he fits fine in the front seat of a Z06.... car seat taken in account for already.

I kind of like this type of thread. It's possible that BMW will take notice through its discussion readers and wake up to what some of us want if it wants to remain my type as a customer--when I/we decide to move to a faster sedan. I want to go fast straight, get decent mileage, have a reasonable transmission, have full speed ahead launch control if I settle for an SMG, have a more friendly tranny, etc. Why doen't BMW make a B5 (the "gentleman's M5) type car for those of us who don't believe that we are twisty racers? BMW would do well to remember that many of us who can afford it faster cars are the drag racers of the 50's and 60's--who don't give much of a flip for having a psuedo track car. Rant, rant, and rant.

I thought he meant that his son would want the keys, but not to use as a rattle.
Did you see what I did to your Avatar? Remember, I mentioned this possibility to you once. I hereby admit that I ripped Berm's stationary Avatar off.

Very well said Znod!
The reason that I'm not into M5 much are poor gas mileage and low low-end torque which is a must for me driving around town.
I never take my car to track, so those high end HP would be never used.
If E55 AMG has good enough handling for around town, it's a best choice.
Anyhew, it's your choice.

Hummm such a delima...
Let my put myself in your shoes...
Keep the Z06. I dont think theres much out there that will give you that much RAW power fun. Unless its getting un reliable and you dont want to deal with fixing it all the time.
as for a fast saloon. I would look into the E 63 AMG and CLS 63 AMG.
