I appreciate your input, but the dual exhausts, look very lexus, I am glade they put the shift lever back in, I'll take a look but it's just a tad conservative, I really love the 3 and 5 series, now if they offered an M3 with just a bit more comfort, I'd be driving it. I spend alot of time in the car.
I "owned" a 335xi for 1 week last year....was way too small and cramped for me. I just couldn't fit in the sport seats either, and I am 6'0" 185 lbs. Those side bolsters were digging into my kidneys, fully deflated.

Now, I will say I've sat in the new M3, and those seats seemed much better, but it's still a small car. Once you've been in a 5, I think you'll be unhappy with the 3-size, regardless of the model. I am sure the M3 a blast to drive, though.

One more 2-3 year lease on an e60. by that time the first gen F10 issues would hopefully be already dealt with and you can slide into a nice F10, (that's my plan hopefully-my lease is up in december of 2010, i'll do another e60 lease hopefully then get into an F10.) GL with your decision.

M3 (sedan?), because the first year of the F10 is a serious craps shoot. History has shown us that the first year of any BMW model change is fraught with myriad problems.

I say if you dont need the extra room go for the M3.......or if ya do maybe S5, thats got the room, comfort and the muscle! Hell if youre leasing only for a year or two, I say what the heck try something new.
