Welcome to the forum, enjoy your new baby and know now that he modding will never end until the key is pried form your hand
That said congratulations, you have asked one of the 3 required questions for new members:
1) iPod install/where to get
2) Wheel and tire sizes that will fit
3) LCI v Pre-LCI
You have now been baptized and are a full fledged member of our little community.

Well all I have to say is thank you for the warm welcome from everybody so far and it feels great to be a born-again modder. My mind is full of wonderful visions of M5 body kits vs M-tech, Tint vs no-tint, how big should I go with my tires 275/285, Angel Eyes with or without Eyebrows...etc..
Thanks again, I'm sure I'll be asking many more questions as time goes on...

As for the mods? Definitely tint, definitely AE (contact Brabus - aka John), definitely M-Tech kit (contact Trinity), also might want to consider things like Sprint Booster (also John) and RPI Scoop and filter combo (from Trinity).
Enjoy your new ride and I am sure the NY members will be happy to welcome you to their meets as well.
P.S. Get those M5 wheels on ASAP, they are gorgeous!! Go with 275 rears since some people report rubbing with 285's (some don't but I just like to be better safe than sorry - tires aint cheap so why have to go get another set?)

2004 is a pre-LCI car. There are a million threads which you can find using the search feature on the difference between pre-LCI and LCI E60s.
Oh and congrats on the 166s. They will look great on your car. My next mod would be the M-Tech kit.
Are you going to use your 123's as a winter set?
Are you going to the August 22nd blockbuster NY area meet?

yeah, but unfortunately you cannot search "LCI" as 3 letter search strings are not accepted. this is why i used to welcome all new people with what LCI stood for. Calvin got fed up with that as he did our law discussions

LCI stands for "Leaves Calvin Infuriated"
I LOVE that abbreviation. Calvin, however, will be less than amused.
Actually, he will laugh, he's as sarcastic as the rest of us.
