Preferred:
LLUMAR ATR < has nice reflection.. no issues so far
Fomula One Pinnacle
Huper <has some ghosting issues too
You can get Metal tint on sides, and non-metallic on rear windsheild for best look and protection.

welcome and congrats on the 550. as for tint, depending where in socal you are, here's the thread at the time i had tint put on my e60.

i went with a dyed charcoal tint 35% all around. no problems with it at all. during the day its still see-through and at night, one could barely see through. most recommended for tint would be formula one pinnacle tint or huper optik. and just stay away from metallic tints in general. the shop that i went to was in long beach. good luck with all your mods.
