True but a damn good description of the rear Suspension of my Touring !
Asking for it with a remap especially if "loaded"...

I hope you agree that words like jiggly, precise, wallowy and compliant are subjective: based upon individual interpretation of one's own driving style and needs.Which of course, is what is asked for by the OP...

As for comfortable seats - obviously not comfortable enough if you went for the "confort seats" option! (good move BTW!!)

In this context, as I drove the three vehicles back-to-back, I would refer to them as "comparative" terms. You'd want two bags of sand in the boot to make a Touring follow the road like a saloon.

I only really had the comfort seats because it was about the same price as full electric adjustment and lumbar support on the standard Sports seats. For an extra ?5 (IIRC) I got an extra four motors per side plus memory for the passenger, not to mention the finest car seats I have ever tried.

So the M Sport seats, comfortable as they are, still benefit from lumbar support.

Surprising that more M Sport owners don't choose this deal.

Yeah, absolutely. Well I think so. Perhaps. I don't really know. The test drive I did in the M-Sport was only 90mins and didn't appear to be lacking in support. I find that on trips of more than 800 miles at a time, the ability to very slightly adjust the position of the pressure points on the seat to be reassuring. To be honest, my last few family cars have had adjustable lumbar support so I went for it again. I could just be a creature of habit!

My dealer tried to dissuade me from having comfort seats! I think he was probably ignorant of the differences. If all dealers arel the same, that would explain why few people have them. Salesmen are, after all, happier talking APRs than CIPs.

Hmmm.. if that driving pattern obviously influences your seat choice it would've been a no-brainer to get massage seats IMHO.
