New Tires for my 550i. Spare Tire?

I would just go without the spare, save the weight, and call BMW assist (or use your mobile phone) if you run into a problem. BMW can GPS track your car and send help immediately.
I do not know about you, but changing a tire on a highway (or even on a neighborhood road) is not my idea of a good time. Most times, the lug nuts are too tight to loosen with the small wrench.
I think American culture is to think back 30 years when getting a flat tire meant a disaster. Today, we have things like fix-a-flat and quick service.
If you find yourself travelling on Montana back roads, then please disregard my opinions.
