MP - thanks for that link - I'll be sure and get it when I pick mine up (IF IT EVER GETS HERE) that is... I just called my new 535i through BMW Assist and it sang to me: "sittin' on the dock in the bay"...now I know how Otis Taylor felt

PS Tell Terrance a big THANKS from me too Generally, I suspect sales guys of just wanting more commission - but the tire warranty really seems to be a good value...wondering is teh warranty transferrable if I was to sell the car in say 3 years? Would help the resell effort a bit if it is....

I'm really glad I bought it. Now I just have to order the winter tires from tirerack.com and i'm set.

Wow. My salesman didn't mention this option. May not apply over here in Europe...I know the warranties are different for the US vice Europe but I'm going to check it out. For MP, his cost has paid for half itself already!

Not to be a nit picker but...Otis Redding sang sittin on the dock of the bay. Otis Taylor was a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs and a very good one at that.

What year is your car? I can't give you an answer because I don't know if you are eligible. Either way it's at Prestige BMW in New Jersey on route 17. Ask for Teresa and tell her your interested in the Tire and Wheel insurance. I don't know if you will be able to get it for what I paid. I bought the car from them so that helped somewhat. The number is 201-327-2525. Good Luck.

My dealer threw in 3 year tyre insurance free of charge when I bought the car. I have already had 2 18" runflats replaced in less than a year because somehow they had nails in them.
