I have my 545 in service for now 5 days ,they can not find source of a ratlle coming from back seat
My dealer gave me a 325 to drive , it has that semi keyless system I can not get use to it, I grew up turning key in order to start engine
pushing a button does not do it for me

BetterMakeWay: If you have steptronic you won't do it like a proper man anyway, theres a "comfort start" feature that allows you to let go of the key the moment it has been in the end position.

I really don't care how the key slot looks like. But I have great issue with the key itself.
As you can see below, why don't us all have the nice 7'er keys to begin with? How much extra does it cost to have the updated keys?
I really feel bad for the 6'er owners whom spent $70K+ and have the skeleton keys.

Sorry guys, is there anyone over here (E60Speed?) who has any clue on the possibility of retrofitting the Comfort Access Option on a September Production Car (with Start/Stop button) ordered without that option?
I mean, could it just be a computer module or it will not be retroffitable?
Thanks
Luke

I've heard so many friends and people here saying that BMW does not have its interior material and gizmo stuffs look like an above $50K car. I totally agree. It's like Mustang's stuffs. BMW gets a life, dude!
Don't keep it like that for so long or you'll be like Jaguar and Cadillac someday. Do something like 7-series. Make the interior looks like luxury car.

I was in a new 3. I found sticking the fob in then pushing the button a little odd. Unless you have comfort access I don't see the point to the Start/Stop button.
