My Ride: 535D Sport Auto
Took my car into main dealers for I drive problem i.e. screen went off 3 times during navigation between march 05 to date. My dealer said bring it in and we'll add latest version of software!
Since getting the car back the I drive seems to be no different from before. How do I tell if they did upgrade the SW or not? The only thing I did notice was all the preset radio channels had disapppeared!

My Ride: E61 530d Touring, May 2004
The full software load takes a ridiculous number of hours to do, so mostly needs an overnight stay at the dealer. May be quicker if doing part upgrade

My Ride: 2002 330CIC with Sports and Premium (Sold 4/2005)
2005 545I Black Saphire Metalic, with Black Dakota Leather, Poplar trim. Sport Package, MTech Body kit and Spoiler, HUD, Comfort Seats, Navigation, Premium sound, CWP, Heated Rear Seats, Window shades. Valentine 1 hardwired, Aux input.
They did the upgrade. Unless they purposely erased your presets.
