My boy owns a shop so when he painted the mtech kit and put it on, he painted the roof for me for free, i was scared cause i didnt know how it was goin to come out but i love it now...
damn thats a perfect situation. i really want to do this with mine but cant pull the trigger.

as far as shadowline goes, do it!!! i was a non believer at first but it honestly looks WAAAY better.

i did a "shadowline" mod myself. i painted my chrome pieces black on the top. here is a good pic to show you a little preview on a aw. i left my chrome pieces on the bottom, mostly because i got lazy.

The chrome trim does not look so bad with chrome wheels. If the wheels were the only think chrome on the car they would look kinda outta place. I would however paint the rear diffuser with some SEM black trim spray to give it some contrast.

you still think i should get the black shadow trim even tho i have the chrome rims and the chrome door handle shell cover?
Not usually an advocate of ditching the chrome window trim, but in this case? With the black roof you need to ditch the chrome altogether, black rims (preferably matte), and get the shadowline, it will make your car look ridiculously good.

YES! Chrome does not belong on a BMW. Period!

Also, when driving around with chrome trim, it's obvious to those that know BMW's that your car does not have the Sport Package.
