Hello gang. I am a proud new owner of a 2010 BMW 535ix Alpine White with Natural Brown Dakota Leather and has the M Package. The car comes loaded and I got $11,000 off MSRP so I jumped on the deal. One thing that it does not come with is Sirius Radio which I am happy since I prefer XM radio. Now do anyone here know a vendor here or anywhere on the internet that sells a plug and play XM module? I want it so that it would work just like Sirius would on this car. If anyone here has done this please let me know what I need for parts and where to buy! Thanks

Second, I want to change the angel eyes so that the color matches the factory HID's. I know Umnitza makes a kit and there are different versions of and there are a few others(brabus?)that make it too. What do you guys recommend? I want it so that I can order the halos and then have a shop put it in since I am not really mechanically inclined and don't want to be taking things off myself and shipping it off and so forth. I am going to be changing the OEM HID bulbs out to the Philips Ultinon which has a blueish purple hue to it from a far so angel eyes to match that would be perfect.

Third, what are some other modifications that members here have done that makes the car look classy and not ricey. Give me any and all suggestions and then I can make an informed decision as to what to do.

I am blessed to be able to own such a beautiful piece of art and I am glad I found the e60 and the bimmerfest forums for the vast knowledge that it provides me. Oh, are there any other 5 series or BMW forums that you guys recommend?

Sorry for all the newbie questions but this is my first BMW ever and I am so excited to mod it to fit my own character but I need your help to do so. Thanks to all in advance!

D.

Brabus for the lights, as will many others recommend him.

and No on XM integration on first hand... you might try BSW or Denison for some option, but the car is set up to integrate the Sirius with little issues and Xm's owned by Sirius any how, and most of the major programs are simulcast on both....

With Sirius and XM having now merged, BMW was supposed to be working on a module that supported XM and Sirius but I have not heard of an expected due date. Frankly, with the ipod option I hardly ever listen to my Sirius any more...

If you are looking for mods other than lights, members NeRwEEzy and Michael from Acute Performance are two of the very top vendors on the board. They are both well-respected. Again, countless members have bought mods from them and I have yet to hear ANY negative feedback about either of them and I have heard tons of great feedback about them. I would not hesitate to buy mods from them.
