Have you paid for or leased your car already as it was to be an ED delivery? If so, that probably accounts to it's slower pace through the VPC. It appears to me that new car orders get priority to the dealers to get the cars delivered, payed for and in the dealers sales numbers. Since ED cars are already paid for, BMW has less incentive to get them delivered. Just an obersevation based on my experience and others I heard from.
