Ok, Im going nuts here. My car reached the NJ VPC on 5/30. I am getting the aero bumper installed and I know a work order was cut on 6/6 for that. Its now 6/15 and the car is still at the VPC. How unusual is this?
Even when this car is complete at NJ it goes on a train to SC where it gets on a truck for chicago. Im trying to be patient but I think Im driving my SA nuts. I am thinking they are repairing body damage to my car.
Any thoughts ? Any one experience this kind of wait?

Your dealer is the only one that can get this info for you. I also had the M-Aero kit done at NJ VPC, but I had my car in one week from the date of arrival at the port.

I had a similar wait ... my 550i was at the VPC for 13 days total. I thought it was because of the M Kit, but it turned out to be a hold-up for some sort of undefined update. Your SA is the only source to get up-to-date info.
Sorry you have had such a long wait ... but you will forget about all this the first moment you stomp down with your right foot.

Sorry to hear you are still waiting. Just for reference. Mine hit the VPC on 5/30 and was delivered to the dealer on 6/11. So it was 14 days from VPC arrival to dealer delivery. SA was suprized it went though so quickly since I had the M Aero Kit installed. The SA said that the M Aero kit should add ~5 days to VPC processing. He stated that (west coast) VPC processing is usually 10days + 5 for M Aero kit. Don't want to put salt in the wound but I take delivery today!

Relax, My 530XI arrived in NJ VPC on April 9th and took 3 weeks for the Aero kit. Took delivery May 1st.
My dealer claims that both aero kits and ED cars take longer at VPC. I really wonder why some cars go thru quickly and some don't. Thanks for the positive reinforcement.
