Is anybody waiting an exceptionally long time for their car to clear the NJ prep center. My 530XI arrived on the 9th and is having an aero kit installed. The dealer said about five days and it's going on three weeks with no word on a ship date.

I have a new X5 going on it's 3rd day at the prep center tomorrow. I'm ok with it though because my current X still has a month left.

Three days would be nice, but sixteen and still counting sucks! Good luck with your new X5!

A US bound X5 has to go through the NJ VPC?

X5's are built in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I believe Z4's are built there as well. They are mostly trucked to NJ for all northeast deliveries before going to specific dealer

Does ANYONE have news on what the fuc& is happening at VPC, which cars are affected (VIN) and when will be resolved. At this point I can't believe I paid $70,000 for a car and am getting treated like this. I may just bag the whole thing.

My delivery date on Owners Circle got pushed back from 4/25 to 4/27 overnight. Otherwise, no word from my dealer (i.e., the salesguy did not return my voicemail).
