Recently, when I?ve been starting the car, the steering wheel has not been going down. It usually will after I turn the car off and on again, but it?s doing this just about every time I start the car now. Is something wearing out? What could this be?

Getting seriously tired of these things adding up...it?s nickeling and diming my patience!

The movement can be programmed by BMW dealer. That, or could be Defective Steering Column mechanism.
I had both on my 545i. Column was replaced under warranty, then re-programmed when it started doing it again.

I just had my steering column replaced because it wouldn?t go back up after I turned off the car. :/
