Hello everyone. First time posting here. I got my first e60 2008 550i. Found the Mdrive option on my ccc and has the following features : Drivelogic SMG, Power. I can change the settings using the I drive dial. Now the question is, do I have an smg transmission? Also when I look up the vin on mdecoder comes up as manual transmission. I did my research and all I found is the no lci 2008 or newer has smg.
can someone help me on this.

 

someone probably enabled M features on CCC idrive that's why you see the option. Only 2006 and 2007 550i came with SMG. LCI models dropped SMG and got it replaced with ZF tranny.
