My car won't start and I get the following message. Depress brake pedal to start engine.
Nothing works. Anyone ever have this issue? Thanks

not trying to be a smart ass...but did you depress the brake pedal? you do have to do that before starting the car

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that you aren't a dumb ass and youare depressing the brake pedal and the car is still not strating. So I would suggest that the switch that the brake pedal actuates when you depress it to allow the car to start is not working or broken.

mine did the same thing, said the key was in the ignition, and everything. It turned out the ignition was messed up. If you have good battery life, ie your lights ,radio , vents all come on this might be it. I get mine back tommarow, hells ya!

Yep, probably is. its at the dealer now. Its funny they said the same thing as everyone else..."well, did you depress the brake pedal?"
