No idea. Take a look at his website maybe it explains it there. You can always contact Terry.

Welcome to the Forums!! I have Active Steering & Roll Stabilization and my steering feels awesome!!! Definitely doesn't feel light or disconnected from the road, so my guess is that you most likely do not have Active Steering. If you post a pic of the passenger side front of your engine bay I will tell you if you have it. That's where it's located and should have metal hydraulic lines coming out of it.

I don't love either option. I will post the photos from home later.

It looks like you do indeed have Active Steering, but if it feels that bad you may need new control arm bushings or control arms. Are you still under warranty?

Looks like the wood trim is loose? From what I can tell, you seem to be missing the receiver that secures to the IP hole and then the metal pin from the wood trim secure to the receiver. That's if I am reading the pics correctly... I believe the small receiver is white and has a square face on it. You need to push it in the IP and then rotate it 90 degrees to lock it in place. I'm sure replacements can be ordered through the dealer.

I may need to take it in so that they can look at it. This too should be covered under warranty.

Looks like it #9. There are several of them through for the trim. If you are missing this, the trim will not stay fixed properly. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...48&hg=51&fg=95
