My Ride: 2006 BMW 530XI. Premium, Sport, Navigation. Black with Auburn interior.

Hello everyone!!
I am possibly the newest e60 owner on this forum. I just bought a CPO 2006 530xi w/ 45K miles a week ago. Car has Premium package, Sport package and iDrive w/ Navi. It has a black exterior and auburn interior. I am a BMW-Convert as I used to be a Mercedes-Benz owner before. I had a w210 4matic, which was/is a great car minus 101 issues, but now belongs to my parents.
However when time came to upgrade I just didn't like the Taurus looks of the new E Class so I decided to give BMW a try! A lot has been said about the reliability of these vehicles but if you do not try to fix what is not broken I hope it all goes well. MBworld forums were a great help with any issues on my Mercedes and I hope this forum will be the same.
As I am a new BMW owner I would appreciate for any input on what to look for around this mileage, common symptoms and any "forum agreed" maintenance schedule. I do not trust lifetime fluids and 15K mile oil changes although they are pocket-friendly!

Hey MA-530XI,
The problem you may encounter is probably the airbag failure warning, but BMW did a recall on this they will get it fixed for you if u take it to them.
Otherwise, it should be running fine!
Congrats!

Thank you Leon! Yes that got fixed as part of CPO inspection, it showed on the CPO report. So far it has been superior :-).
