I just got the new door seals, and I'd like to report that the difference is truly dramatic! It's hard to believe that such a simple part can make such a difference. I'm worried that the squeaks may return, but for now it is an incredible improvement. truly dramatic.

Hi Rai. I hate to be a wet blanket, but pls enjoy the noiseless environment whilst you can. The noise will be back after a month or so and you will then have to ask for the friction tape again. Trust me. This happened to my ride and also a few other forum members

Totally agree. What the deal do now is lubricating the door seal rather than replacing. I think this is something need to be done everytime when the car is in for service going forward.

Thanks for your input. What kind of friction tape do you use, and where can it be purchased?

Thanks,
