Or at least give us some more detail on the seals. My guy says call back in a month and they should be in. You saw the video and said they are testing them. Does the one month timeframe sound reasonable? Or does the video give you any reason to believe that it could be longer?

That was me.? I did not get a part number but when I tried on Saturday to book an appointment for the carboflo treatment for my creaking doors, the service advisor said they were not doing it anymore.? To paraphrase, he said BMW realized it was waisting a lot of money on having to do the temporary carboflo fix over and over so they were coming out with new seals to fix the problem.? He said call him back in a month and he should have them in.? I'll call him back tomorrow and see if he knows a part number.? I seem to recall another poster saying he had gotten new seals (in Europe I believe) and that the part number was the same but the new seals had yellow dots on it, or something like that.?

I'll let everyone know what he says about a part number tomorrow...

I confirm that new seals are available here in Europe. The dealer changed mine 4 weeks ago and the groaning doors problem seems disappeared. Unfortunely, I discovered in a couple of days that one door was still heavily groaning. After a check, the dealer told me that the seal of that door was still the old type and has been installed by mistake; they say that the new seals can be identified by a small green dot close to the item number (I don't know where it is, actually).

I will try to get the part number of the new seals from my dealer; it'll atke a couple of days.
