I just had my door seals replaced - the felt strips at the top - and all of my creaks are gone! I am so happy. I just hope it lasts...

I also had my cup holder replaced, my oil changed (2nd one at 23,000 miles), and my front passanger window motor and guide replaced.

This was my first visit where the dealer actually fixed everything!

Hi,

I've also booked the replace to be done for next week...

Did you have rattle when the windows were wet... I've noticed that the sound is in it's worst if the car is totally dry (after been parked under sunshine for hours).

Now, when there has been a lot of rain the sound disappeared totally...

I had to keep the window down about 3-4mm to prevent this enormous rattling...

I'll have mine replace soon. The noise is coming back after dealer spray Carbaflow or spermicide on it couple of months back.

I have mine book in for the 12th September but ive just had to book a flight to budapest for the 10th and i dont get back til the 13th. they said theyd pick the car up but i have images of a tow truck at the house and neighbours going 'hahahahahahha' etc.

its due for an oil change and i talked to the head technician who said hed replace the door seals under warrenty and upgrade the idrive to the latest version 18.xx at time of call.

i am praying that it solves the squeak issue. its driving me nuts at low speed.

I've had my door noise done a month back and is now coming back too. Apart from that I can hear rattle from rear parcel shelf area and the flap below the glass sun roof. It's better when the sunroof flap is close, but the noise is there. VERY VERY annoying.
I don't want a monthly visit to the deal for the rattling problem

My sunroof rattles too - it sounds as if the cable has some play in it and it slaps against something - or maybe it's just the panel moving. It's on my list of items the dealer will investigate.
