This interenet this blowing things way out of porportion.
The new 550's engine which is NOT the 4.8 Litre valvetronic engine in the X5, and you will NOT see it as a 2006 model in the E60.
Geezes... where the heck do you guys come up w/ these stuff??!!

...the 4.8 will be a new engine and first in the 750i, then the 6ers and 5ers...and I said not before MY07, probably MY08

M5 with 500hp V10 is the ultimate sports sedan.
M6 with 550hp V10s is BMWs ultimate Sports GT. Watch out Ferrari and SLR
