Base on what you guys are saying, why would anyone want to buy a 550i 4.8L that drinks gas compared to a 535i that might be a few fractions slower to 60 mph stock (faster if mod for a cheap price), and gives better gas mileage. Once some information are confirmed, I think I'm selling my 545i.

How much will it cost in US $?

In that case, 535i stock would turn out mid 5's to 6.0 seconds. Can anyone confirm that it can be easily modded like the Japanese cars and not like the current 5 series?

And the new N54B35 engine weighs 140 pounds less than the 540i:s V8!!!

The price will be somewhere between the 530i and 550i.

But a new 550i with HPI will be coming...close to 400 hp!

I wish you were right about the 330i coupe, but I just checked bmw.se, and you're only getting a 335i and 325i - the latter with just 214hp and 250Nm - doing 0-100km/h in 6.9 (7.6).

I wish people would stop spreading rumors about this phantom R6 that will supposedly "replace" the 255hp N52. If you have found some other source, please link to it.

In the US, in addition to the 335i coupe, we're getting a 328i coupe with 230hp (a naturally aspirated 3 liter - confirmed to be a detuned version of the N52), as well as a 328xi coupe.

We can only speculate, but the argument I would make to support an easier path is that the aftermarket tuners will really get to work on 335i upgrades. 3 series cars always get the focus of the tuners. The engine should be similar enough for the remaps to be available on the 535i.

Technically, turbo cars are all pretty easy to add extra hp to.

Hmmm... remember that a US gallon is 80% of other gallons.

There is no mention of a 330i on your site in the area designated for the coupe. Check under "BMW 3-serien Coup? (ny 3-serie) - Tekniska Data". Only 335i and 325i. I see the press release you are referencing though now.

Looks like the coupe may be getting a slight bump in tuning. That's actually common and probably meant to help differentiate the coupe from the sedan. Don't know if this would change throughout the entire line - it's a small bump ~15hp.

I'm from Finland so it is not "our" site.

I speak several languages but the www.bmw.se (Sweden) is one of the best BMW sites in Europe.

Follow my step:

1) www.bmw.se
2) Under the topic Media you find "Nyheter"
3) Under the topic Produktnyheter you can find the link
"Elegans n?r den ?r som b?st: Nya BMW 3-serie Coup?" dated the 26th of April

The news has actually been edited since I read it the first time.
