I'm currently in the process of buying a 2007 530d Msport, a car which I have been after for a long time. Just thought I would put the details up here and see if you think I'm getting a good one!

So, paying £12.7k, it has a shade over 90k on the clock and other than some lacquer damage to the front bumper it appears to be in good shape. A check on BMW Vin shows the following (some of which means little to me!):

Sorry for double post - but would this car be the one with the i-drive / iphone connectivity?

 

Where are you buying from? My instinct is that it's a bit too much for the miles it's done.

I've gotten rid of the standard stuff, now, above, only the optional extras are visible.

bmw assist is useless though- it needs a yearly subscription. Option 633 says it has a bluetooth for handsfree calls. If you're referring to the iPhone/iPod connection for playing music, you'll have to wait for someone here to explain how that works (I don't have it so can't comment, I think the CD changer is replaced with the iPod connection, but I can't confirm)

 

It's from a dealer (non-bmw), apparently was the car which their director has been using for the last year or so. Not sure that I believe any stories when it comes to buying cars however!
