New 520d specification (UK)
#11
hi there, i have a 520d 163bhp and had remapped to 198bhp, very good, but the best thing i have to stress
The mpg i get is phenominal, to a full tank driving from home to my in-laws.
(Nottingham to Portsmouth) i will probaly get 600 miles in a full tank of aproximately ?60, thats almost 100 miles for every ?10, thanks to the remap by DMS, Excellent the remapp pays for itself within weeks.
Anyhow, dont be dissapointed with this engine, you can always remap like i did.
Enjoy the driving!!
Im looking to do M5 replica in the coming few months once i have some funds

My personal crisis is that my leasing company told me I'd get the new car "Early September." Am I going to get the last old specification engine? It'd be just my luck...
Wait for the MY '08 with the new 177 hp 350 Nm engine (only 136 CO2/km!) and the new LCI autotrans.
Production starts in September, but for the right-hand-side-drive it can go to October (maybe?).
Worth the wait!
