I remember seeing a video of someone powering the angeleye for a 2004-2007 with the interior power light, which would fade in and out when turning on and off. It was pretty cool.

It was done by a friend of mine!
Sorry but i can?t explain the details of how it was done!
You need to make an extension of cable from the interior courtesy lights to the headlights and eyebrows!

any possible way to take pictures of the setup inside? I can definitely mimic it, just need some key pointers.

I could be mistaken, but I would assume this would be an easy mod. Honestly its funny cause I was just leaving the gym the other night and thought that would be a cool thing to have, the angel eyes light up with the pathway lighting.

I just ordered my SWS-8s and a new amp, so I will be doing some electrical work on my car in the coming weeks. My theory at doing this mod would be simple, just find the circuit that controls the pathway or interior (your option) lighting and running a jumper wire to the circuit that leads to the angel eyes. That way when you activate the circuit, the angels light up.

I'd be open to other ideas, but that may be the direction I go with this mod. It will be a couple months though, as I dont plan to work on my car when its still cold out, plus snowboard season is in full swing, so I wont have a weekend day off for several weeks!

Do you think that would intefere would the car being on?

Let's say if you take the power from the interior, tap it into the headlight (Angel eyes and eyebrows). So if you unlock the car, power lights up the interior right and the angel eyes and eyebrow. Once you start the car, does the power cut off from the interior? could it get overload when you open the door or something? please help!

Hmmmm, well you wont get overload, becuase its all 12vdc system, but you could get backfeed when you turn on your lights on the pathway lighting, which could turn on the pathway lights, when you turn on your headlights. If you wire the load after the pathway lighting relay you should be safe, becuase the circuit would be open.

Again just theory as i havent looked at any BMW wiring diagrams, on how these lights are controlled, but honestly its a simple 12volt system anyway you look at it. If somehow you couldnt wired after the relay, you could always put in your own 12vdc relay on the tap, to prevent the backfeed mentioned above.
