For a winter weather set up it looks great. Those wheels should be very easy to keep clean and is snow the extra clearance around tire and wheel well would be welcome when the cold weather slop begins to get kicked up!

Reasons I went A7:
Easy to clean
Relatively good looks for a winter wheel

Thx -- winter wheel set-ups are about as sexy as Jed Clampett -- but you gotta have em if you're going to drive in the snow belt..

Hey Rick....we're twins now. I just ordered the identical set.
I couldn't wait any longer...we had some snow today and ice. Nothing stuck to the road, but as I was coming home tonight at 1AM I went across an overpass that is only about 10 yards long doing 60mph, and I just felt the entire car start to slide. It wasn't even on a real curve...almost perfectly straight, and I still felt the car just basically skate across the section. My pucker factor went up for a split second.
Luckily it's just a short span, and it wasn't an issue, but had it been snowing out or icier, I'd have been screwed....so it was time to make the order. I got the totes and felt too! Luckily I saved 5% thru MrRebates.com (thanks, Luigi) and got in on the $50 tire rebate with only a few days left!

I looked to see if that set-up was available for xi's ... but alas ... no ... I do like the look!

I ordered the same package a month ago. However, I picked them up in a 17in size. I should probably put them on soon, they are sitting at my mechanic's place.
I might regret the 17in size, but I live in an urban area with massive pot holes!
