It never fails that once you reach the end of a warranty period, or something else of great importance, something will break. For me, two weeks ago the title came in the mail from BMW on Tuesday and my wife called on Wednesday morning from Birmingham, AL, and said the driver and passenger windows were popping, grinding and not going up without a fight. Wasn't much I could do from Nashville, but get an appointment at the shop for some of the last work under the CPO warranty (ends in January). Hopefully nothing else will break after Tuesday when the window lifts and motors get fixed. It's probably worth getting the Bentley manual I saw on the Bavarian Auto website and finding a local shop that works on the E60s--the last shop that we used for the E34 540 closed.
