You can see the headrests move on in the following video of the 6 series I posted a while ago:

Video of the interior of the 6er including the headrest:

Also, maybe I'm imagining it but it looks as if the sport seats are redesigned as well. The side bolsters look more sculpted as well as the thigh bolsters...

Does anyone know if these are going to be in the 535i September+ production runs? I haven't ordered yet, but will be soon.

I've sat in the multi-contoured seats in the 530i, and wasn't very impressed. I know these seats come with the sport package on the 535i, but I was hoping for true sports seats, with better thigh side support. The side bolster adjustments only changed the supports along the back, not the thighs. The sport seats in the picture above look more in line with what I was hoping for.

The multi-contoured seats also seem a little too plush for my taste; I'd like something a little stiffer.

The new seats are shown on the website configurators as of now. That means if you were to order one today, that is what you would get. I spoke to my dealer today who stated my car is due for build start in 2 weeks time. It will have the new seat design.

Anyone know when these new seats were introduced, my dealer told me my car was finished on 28th August. I've ordered comfort seats and these currently don't look to my liking, but as others have said, lets not judge the book by it's cover....

Exactly - let's hope the comfort seats don't turn out to be another "Logic 7" !!

That's what I was thinking, seems like this 50k BMW is being devalued before I even get my hands on one!!! Ah well, tis all speculation at the minute...

Just a thought, I wonder where you'd stand with regards to not being delivered what you were sold if you were unhappy with the manufacturer changing an item without your consent???

Usually you would think they would do things for the better...

The sports seats look very promising in the pics. I like them!

I'm either looking in the wrong place, am dense, or perhaps both. I don't see anything about seats (other than the usual multi-contour seats) in the "Build your 535i" on bmwusa.com, and going to the international site via bmw.com just kicks me over to bmwusa.com.

Where should I be looking?

Im in the UK, so am using www.bmw.co.uk ... the 3rd post in this thread says they looked on www.bmw.ch, the 4th post in the thread says they looked on www.bmw.de. So yep, not looking in the right place, and perhaps a little dense (or just lazy) ...
