Black leather, Nav, Adaptive Xenons, AWD, Comfort access, NightVision, Cold Weather Package, adaptive xenon headlights with headlight washers, PDC, glass sunroof, Ipod, park distance control, retrofited auto dimming power folding mirrors, Window Tint Front 35% / Rear 20%
Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum, I just recently purchased a 2007 530xi. The car did not come with the power folding side mirrors, it's getting really annoying folding the mirrors myself every time I parked the car. Does anyone know how to or where to get the parts? also if there any DIY I can look up. I would highly appreciate any help.

you will only need the folding motors plus the drivers side switch panel with the folding button, plus the car will need a re-code to enable the motors after fitment, might be an idea to ask your dealers parts department about the motors but it might actually be cheaper to see if you can get the mirrors with the folding option from some where like ebay or maybe some one here has a pair.

Hey Blood, thanks for the reply, I will ask the dealer for the parts.

I have a pair of mirrors for sale with all of the options from a 2010 535i. I replaced them with a set of M5 mirrors from 2007-2008. Since the 2007-2008 M5 mirrors were plug and play for me, it seems like the 2010 mirrors should be plug and play for you once you add the switch panel. You might ask the dealer just to make sure.

Hey Wolfgang,
I'm interested, can you let me know the price you are willing to sell them, I will ask my dealer just to make sure if they will work on a 07.

I thought they were only plug and play if the cars door modules were the "high" version and the cars only came with the high module if the car already had folding mirrors.

Sanj, nice to know it worked out well for you. I called one of my friend that works as a mechanic, he will try to get more info or maybe he can find only the parts that I need to convert my side mirror to power folding but in the mean time I will also look for the whole set of mirrors and the switch.
