I currently have a standard left trim cover on the left side of my boot (trunk). Its the part that covers the left taillight. When I open it I notice a lot of empty screw holes there so I know its the place where BMW add all the 'other' entertainment devices like TV, DVD etc which obviously I don't have (as seen here http://forums.e60.net/index.php?act=attach...st&id=18313 ). I simply have the small UK Hi-Fi amp and the TCU but that is out of the way. Can I please see photos of how the various covers look.
The reason I ask is I see realoem offers so may different types, some with the cubby holes, some with the DVD changer covers etc but I have no idea how they look. As mentioned I simply have a standard cover but ofcourse now I'd installed a parcel net, similar to the one found on the right, on the left side too as seen here http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=42302
Please note I'm not looking for picture under the cover but of the cover normally installed itself. Any combinations besides mine will do.

Thats very interesting. So I'm guessing the oddment tray sits over the DVD drive bracket which is under it.
Does anyone have the oddment tray on its own without the DVD window at the bottom? Or one with the DVD drive slot but without the oddment tray?
Also I see the right side too can have a different cover if you have something called "ADDITIONAL ENERGY SUPPLY" which I'm guessing is another battery. Anyone with that combination?

I don't have photos right now but my car has the oddment tray and the door to the DVD drive. When you open the DVD drive door, there's a solid panel behind it -- like a doorway to nothing. There is a module installed behind there (that wasn't in my old car) but I'm not sure what it's for at this time...
Same here. I have the try and the DVD door but when I open the door theres nothing there.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm just trying to check what options I have in terms of installing an amp for my subs that are below the seats and thought that if I have enough of place there I will install it there. I never tot amps these days would be so huge!! I was going by sizes of the OEM amps. I'll tell you how I get on once I get the stuff that Radioham is sending me (thanks a lot pal).
Any idea Rudy what module is behind there. Also what are all the other modules that go there. I could see at least 3 that I don't have and couldn't recognise.

If I don't post something in a few days, feel free to remind me!

Thats not a problem Rudy. Thats another annoying thing I noticed about these covers. The Left one will come out without having to lift the spare tyre hatch door but the right side needs that to be lifted up.
