what link are you referring to? There is only a single brake light cable. The LCM is controlling the intensity by changing the voltage supplied to the bulb.

I was referring to the link with the two pins, enabling the LED's, assuming we could light them from the fogs. But I just checked my lights again and even with the tail light cable removed the brake position tail light still lights on dim which confirms the above. So we need something that lets 12volts through but no less, or a LCM re-program mmm Anyway, sorry for high jacking this thread, perhaps the LCI owners can continue to comment...By the way just to complicate matters, I can confirm that my car has BFD enabled and it works! Just did an emergency stop on the driveway with a reflective surface behind so I could see. The 2 centre lights came on aswell as the outer ones. I have a Sept 2006 model.

All cars have BFD, the only difference is the which bulb acts as it (US-circle, EU-center). However Dawi says he doesn't have this although he has a UK car made in May 2006. My car made in Jan 2006 and Spig's car made in Sep 2006 has BFD...looks like Dawi needs to check again.
