Need Help replacing supporting mirrors ring

Default Need Help replacing supporting mirrors ring

Hi. I need help on how to replace the mirrors ring in my 582i 2008. Thanks for your help.

It's not clear what you mean by 'mirrors ring'. I think you mean the angel eyes in the headlights. Is that what you mean?

What I mean is the side view mirrors supporting ring part#51167074953.Thanks

1. Tilt the glass all the way up, insert a popsicle or some sort of stiff plastic stick under the glass and "pop" it off
2. Release the plastic tabs and push forward to remove the front cover
3. You should now be able to remove the supporting ring but it might be easier if you take out the 4 torx screws to loosen the inside plastic housing
4. The supporting ring just clicks into place so you should be able to remove it by carefully prying it off the tabs
