So I'm in a chassis system design class and one of my projects in the class is to determine all of the forces acting on a vehicle's chassis under various operating conditions.
I can pick any vehicle I want so I naturally went with my own 530i. Of course in order to do this project I need to have some basic information about the car like weight, length and width measurements, and a few performance figures.
I think I've found just about everything I need except for a 530i's braking distance from 80-0mph and it's ground clearance, so if anyone could hook me up with those figures for a 2004 530i that would be great.
I'm looking for figures on a standard E60, without brake or suspension upgrades and without the sport suspension. I tried google searching it and using the forum search but I wasn't getting anything useful.

Can't you measure your own ground clearance (if you are using your own vehicle)? It varies so much that you can create your own nominal figure with acceptable error margin.

I put 20's on so my car is sitting a little higher than normal too.
