I have had my center console out of the car 10 or so times in the past few months - and as a result the clips that hold in the rear accessory panel (that houses my AUX port and two 12v outlets) has lost the clips. I looked on realoem - but didn't see a reference to the clips when I pulled up the diagram of the console and panel. Maybe I missed something, could someone please point me in the right direction?

Good luck! I discovered that these clips are NOT available unless you purchase the rear panel. I damaged one of mine and thought yeah, I'll just go get one at the dealer. Right... Luckily I didn't throw away the old one and was able to bend it back to a functional clip.

Thanks Tony - I had a feeling this was the case. Guess I will buy the cheapest back panel they make and try to be more careful in the future.

I do find it odd that I have basically had my entire interior out of my car at one point or another and that friggen panel puts up the biggest fight of them all.

YW, I know it SUX and I was excited when I located my twisted clip after I almost rip the console off its mounting bolts. After I realized the clips were not available I call a friend of mine who works for the supplier of the X5 and Z4 console thinking that he might be familiar with this clip. No luck. I'll give him another call just in case he did locate something. The X5 had a similar rear panel but I just can't remember if it was the same clip, but I don't think it was.
