I just spoke with a BMW service shop here in Toronto, they mentioned that it's only the vacuum lines that are covered under warranty, not the actual Vacuum pump.

Is this true...? WTH

I heard if the oil gets in the booster and damages it you will get it replaced under warranty with the lines, but only if oil got into the booster, and it will only get changed at the same time as the lines.

So I just spoke with BMW Canada,

here's the scoop,

Since my car is a US vehicle, Bmw Canada most likely will not honor the recall service. My car hasn't been registered in Canada yet.

Good news is that BMW North America will fix it for free.
I already contacted Town BMW at Williamsville Buffalo,NY
They have the parts and it will be replaced for free.

So I'm heading over Friday morning to get everything fixed.

Just a downer i had to drive 2hrs from Toronto.

Sounds a bit scary to drive without brake assist for 2 hours.

Plan is I'm staying the night at Niagara Falls Thursday night, and head over in the morning to Williamsville in the morning.

Just make sure it not something stupidly simple as a vacuum leak between the booster and the vacuum pump that you can fix or Jerry rig for the drive to the dealer.

Ok Ok.. UPDATE!

So was going to take the car last time to Buffalo, Williamsville. But I couldn't since I had the worst luck ever.
My house got flooded, long story short.. One of the upstairs bathroom piped leaked out and whole house was damage.

Anyways...

So after all of that was settled with insurance, I thought I'd give it another try calling local BMW dealership.
First I called Downtown Toronto BMW, explained them my Issue and what do you know, they say a "Recall is a Recall" don't matter bring it in, and we'll fix it for you!
WOW.. at this point I'm ready to bring it in, but it's a just a little too far!! So I call another dealership somewhere in the middle not too far from where I live.
So I call Maranello BMW in Woodbridge, again they say the same thing.. bring it in!

The only dealership that was so close to me BMW Mississauga, wouldn't do it. So I call again and explained my situation and they give me the same S$%! that it's a U.S. car and we can't do it.
And I said, you're the only dealership I know who wouldn't take care of a serious matter like this.
I spoke with the service manager and he said bring it in..

I guess sometimes service advisers really blows and you really have to take it to the top ALL the time!

So they replaced my brake booster lines and pump
Also got my computer updated without going all the way to Buffalo
Enjoying the my 545i now and feeling safe!!

Thanks again for everyone's fast response~
